Qualifications

• Experience or training in health and wellness, disability and life or health insurance, injury claims, or customer service.
• Strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills in a client-facing environment.
• Effective planning and time management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage disability claims (STD, LTD and Life Waiver) by evaluating medical information and job duties.
• Evaluate disability extent via medical information, communicating with applicants, employers, physicians, and other professionals.
• Make decisions based on your assessment of each claim.
• Implement return-to-work programs and coordinate with employers.
• Coordinate health care and rehabilitation programs to meet employability goals.
