Job summary

A leading educational institution in Canada is seeking a Director of Student Programs to lead the Student Life Team and enhance co-curricular offerings. This full-time role requires strong leadership, a Master's Degree, and at least five years of relevant experience. The Director will work closely with various departments to ensure a culture of accountability and student success while advancing equity and diversity initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years related work experience in a university or other post‐secondary education setting.
• Experience in legal education and/or in the legal profession.
• Experience developing and evaluating extra‐ and co‐curricular programs for law students.

Responsibilities

• Provide collaborative leadership to the Student Life Team.
• Oversee satisfaction/feedback surveys for student programs.
• Work with the Assistant Dean, EDI to advance diversity in programs.

Skills

Strong leadership capabilities

Excellent judgment and decision‐making skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Familiarity with the Faculty of Law and university environment

Ability to research best practices of equity

Education

Master’s Degree or equivalent

J.D. or LL.B.
