Job summary

CPA Ontario in Ontario is seeking a Director, Research & Thought Leadership to lead the development and evolution of the organization's thought leadership strategy on issues shaping the future of accounting.

Reporting to the EVP, Chief Communications & Sustainability Officer, you will manage research, storytelling, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to position CPA Ontario as a trusted voice for members and the business

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years developing, researching, and managing thought leadership on complex issues.
Experience leading research teams and large projects.
Strong understanding of Ontario business and political landscape.
Ability to synthesize information and present concisely.

Responsibilities

Develop and evolve CPA Ontario's thought leadership strategy.
Create research content and deliver Insight Speaker Series.
Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Sponsorship, Events, and Membership.
Develop points of view for CEO and executives for media and speaking engagements.
Manage a thought leadership calendar and measure impact.
Monitor global trends and advise senior leaders.
