Job summary

CPA Ontario is seeking a Principal Advisor, Professional Advisory Services, to deliver expert guidance on accounting, assurance, ethics, and regulatory matters. You will support members and firms across the profession while collaborating with committees and internal teams.

Qualifications

• CPA designation and membership in good standing.
• Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience with expertise in accounting, assurance and quality management.
• Experience researching, analyzing and interpreting complex accounting, ethical, regulatory and professional practice matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on accounting, assurance standards, bylaws, regulations, and code of professional conduct.
• Advise members, firms and internal stakeholders to support sound professional judgment.
• Represent CPA Ontario on committees and provide technical analysis on accounting, ethics and practice matters.
• Develop guidance, publications, and resources translating complex concepts into practical information.
