Job summary

NewAge Products Inc. in North York, ON, seeks a Director, Portfolio Brands to own and grow the US retail partner business for an emerging sub-brand portfolio.

The role builds channel strategy, opens new doors, and serves as the senior commercial voice for retail partners. Initially an individual contributor, the role will build and lead a retail sales team as the portfolio scales, requiring multi-channel breadth and established buyer relationships, with regular domestic travel and occasional

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Sales, Business, Marketing.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive retail sales experience.
• Proven track record managing national accounts and multi-brand portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the US retail sales strategy for the emerging sub-brand portfolio across big-box, independent and online channels.
• Build retail distribution from the ground up, securing first placements and expanding door counts.
• Own delivery of sub-brand retail revenue and margin objectives by customer and channel.
• Lead pricing, promotions and discounting in partnership with brand and category teams.
• Leverage retailer relationships and create independent distribution paths.
• Travel regularly to meet buyers and represent the sub-brands at trade shows and market events.
• Build KPIs and reporting to measure performance and present results to senior management.
• Transition from IC to leading a US retail sales team as the portfolio scales.
