Join a high-visibility transformation initiative within a major banking environment supporting complex segmentation programs across multiple workstreams. This role provides delivery leadership across program management, governance, stakeholder alignment, risk escalation, and Go-To-Market execution within Canadian Banking. The position offers direct engagement with senior executives and ownership over initiative sequencing, delivery oversight, and transformation execution. Extension potential is based on performance and business needs.
Location: Toronto/Hybrid -3 days in-office
Contract Duration: 10/26/2026 to 10/25/2027 (Chance of Extension)
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in program management, transformation delivery, or business change leadership, including ownership of complex initiatives across multiple workstreams.
- Deep domain or functional expertise relevant to the assigned transformation area, with the ability to apply subject matter knowledge to shape scope, sequence activities, and guide delivery decisions.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders, executives, workstream owners, and project delivery teams to coordinate planning, manage interdependencies, facilitate governance forums, and maintain execution momentum.
- Proven experience developing and executing Go-To-Market plans, including readiness planning, stakeholder alignment, implementation sequencing, change management, communications, and post-launch performance tracking.
- Demonstrated success supporting and guiding program managers, strengthening delivery quality, and creating visibility into initiative health, capacity, and risks.
- Strong governance, reporting, and risk management capabilities, with experience escalating issues clearly and enabling timely decisions through transparent performance reporting.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Retail Banking experience an asset
- Recent experience with Client segmentation and transformation initiatives is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of assigned transformation initiatives across scope, sequencing, execution, and milestone tracking
- Partner with workstream leaders and program leadership to coordinate project management support across the functional area
- Monitor initiative health, interdependencies, capacity gaps, and delivery risks across assigned workstreams
- Escalate material risks, interdependency issues, and capacity constraints through program governance forums
- Facilitate Steering Committee preparation, executive engagement, decision tracking, and stakeholder alignment
- Drive accountability for initiative planning, resource alignment, milestone execution, and delivery outcomes
- Support continuous improvement across transformation delivery practices and execution consistency
