Job summary
The Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company in Canada seeks a Director, Personal Lines, Business Planning & Performance to lead strategy development, performance metrics, and executive reporting for Personal Lines. You will monitor market trends and translate them into actionable initiatives while coordinating enterprise planning.
Reporting to SVP & Chief Personal Lines Officer, you will oversee dashboards, business reviews, and KPIs, partner with sales, operations, finance, compliance, and strategy,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, actuarial science, analytics, or related field.
- 8–10 years in strategic planning, performance reporting, or leadership in P&C insurance.
- Proven cross-functional leadership in a matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical, storytelling, and executive-facing communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate strategic and tactical planning for Personal Lines with enterprise alignment.
- Design and oversee executive dashboards, reviews, and decision-support analytics.
- Monitor market developments and translate insights into measurable initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional teams with influence across sales, operations, finance and compliance.
- Prepare leadership meetings, town halls and offsite strategy sessions; track actions.
