Job summary

The Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company in Toronto, ON invites applications for Vice President, Enabling Functions. You will coordinate corporate services, align strategy with Everest Insurance Company of Canada, and act as a trusted advisor to the Senior Leadership Team.

In this high-impact role, you will lead cross-functional initiatives, develop governance frameworks, oversee budgets and planning, and provide actionable recommendations to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of progressive leadership experience in business operations, corporate services, strategy, or related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives through influence in a matrixed organization.
• Strong understanding of governance, budgeting, and enterprise planning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Everest Insurance Company of Canada and Wawanesa enterprise enabling functions to deliver integrated service.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and governance fora to drive execution.
• Prepare executive presentations, reports, and board materials with clear recommendations.
