The Miele Group in Vaughan is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead the regional supply chain with a 3–5 year strategic plan aimed at efficiency and innovation while controlling costs and inventory levels.

You will align supply chain strategy with broader business goals, manage external partners, oversee budgeting, and develop a high-performing team across cross-functional units, WMS/TMS, and S&OP processes.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience with SAP is an asset.
  • Experience in a cross-functional environment.
  • 5+ years in Direct-to-Consumer environments.
  • Ability to lead multiple businesses; good understanding of white goods.
  • Strong track record of successfully running mid-size logistics units.
  • Good IT understanding (forecasting software, S&OP, WMS, TMS).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a 3–5 year strategic Supply Chain plan to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Align strategy to wider business objectives and provide regular, concise updates on cluster performance.
  • Execute logistics processes and manage external SC partners for performance and cost.
  • Lead the local leadership team and oversee SC execution across a region.
  • Collaborate with regional sales and marketing to support cost-effective service offerings.
  • Manage budget and participate in yearly budget planning activities.
  • Support regional initiatives and harmonize demands with global alignment.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing Supply Chain team.
  • Drive improvements in warehouse footprint and S&OP processes.
  • Ensure achievement of aligned business targets through predefined efficiency measures.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage the Supply Chain function with a focus on developing and implementing 3-5 years strategic plan with the intent of driving efficiencies and innovation to improve all SC service offerings whilst controlling costs and inventory levels
  • Ensure alignment of strategy to wider business strategies and objectives
  • Provide necessary stakeholders with regular, accurate, and concise updates on cluster performance to enable broader logistics strategies to be developed
  • Execute logistics processes and functions on a level
  • Accountable for all external SC partners (Performance, Cost)
  • Member of local leadership team
  • Monitor and ensure performance of all relevant SC execution
  • Align w/ regional sales and marketing activities to ensure a Supply Chain Strategy that supports their respective objectives through cost effective and efficient service offerings
  • Manage budget and partake in yearly budget planning activities
  • Support successful implementation of regional initiatives acting as intermediary with functions & respective employees
  • Consolidate demands ensuring harmonization and global alignment
  • Oversee development of all employees to guarantee superior Supply Chain competencies
  • Successful execution for operational, tactical & strategic topics
  • Achieving of aligned business targets through sustainable and predefined efficiency measures
  • Further developments: improvements in WH footprint and S&OP process
  • Develop and maintain a high performing team
What we are looking for
  • 10+ years Supply Chain Management

  • 5 plus years’ experience in a direct-to-consumer environment
  • Ability to lead multiple businesses; good understanding of white goods business
  • Strong track record of successfully running logistics mid-size units in industry or logistics services
  • Good IT understanding (e.g. forecasting software, S&OP, WMS, TMS, …)

The salary range for this position is $180,000 to $200,000 annually. This range is a guideline and may not reflect your exact offer. Factors that will be considered when extending an offer include but are not limited to education, experience, relevant skills, and alignment with market data.
