Job summary

Clutch Technologies Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships to build a new commercial growth function from the ground up. You will identify opportunities across vehicle supply, customer distribution and partner benefits, and work with Brand on high-impact partnerships.

Reporting to the CFO and Head of Marketing, you’ll have the autonomy to close flagship deals, shape the roadmap, and later recruit and scale a partnerships team as the function expands.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business development or strategic partnerships.
• Proven track record of originating, negotiating, launching and growing partnerships.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to evaluate unit economics.
• Executive presence and exceptional relationship-building.
• Ability to lead multi-team launches and own deals end-to-end.
• Builder mindset with independence to stand up new function.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy by mapping top partnership categories and commercial upside.
• Originate programs with OEMs, lenders, and fleet companies.
• Build distribution channels with banks, insurers and loyalty programs.
• Support brand partnerships with commercial structure.
• Own deals end-to-end from outreach to contracting.
• Grow and renew partnerships with measurable impact.
• Scale a repeatable partnership function with playbooks and metrics.
