Job summary

Stride is seeking a Strategic Partnerships & Business Development Manager to expand corporate relationships and opportunities across Canada. The role focuses on sourcing prizes, negotiating partnerships, and building strategic alliances with brands, vendors and foundations that support Stride’s lottery programs.

The successful candidate will leverage an established network, identify opportunities, and drive deals from prospecting through to formal agreements, delivering value across prizing,

Qualifications

• 7+ years in corporate partnerships, business development, sponsorships, or brand partnerships.
• Experience with consumer brands, retailers, travel, automotive, real estate, hospitality, entertainment, tech.
• Established network to open doors and generate opportunities.
• Proven ability to move opportunities from prospecting to agreement.
• Experience in lottery, gaming or sponsorship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and secure new corporate partnerships across multiple sectors.
• Leverage networks to open doors and engage senior decision-makers.
• Source and negotiate high-value prizes and prize-related partnerships.
• Structure value through in-kind contributions, promotions, and brand participation.
• Develop compelling partnership propositions for Stride’s programs.
• Lead opportunities from outreach to agreement with long-term partnerships.
• Stay current on consumer trends and potential partnerships.
• Maintain an active pipeline and advance opportunities consistently.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure viability and practicality.
