Overall Requirements

The Director of Quality is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the organization’s quality assurance and improvement programs, ensuring products and services meet or exceeds industry standards and customer expectations, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, and maintain quality management systems, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure compliance within the quality department
  • Develop and manage quality control programs, standard testing, and evaluation process
  • Evaluate production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements
  • Collaborate with management and senior staff across production departments and roles to draft acceptable quality standards
  • Reviews quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance
  • Works with Engineering to develop criteria and specifications as it relates to processes and product control
  • Works with the customer base to improve overall quality and problem resolutions.
  • Periodically reports status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and, when required, regulatory agencies
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of quality teams
  • Train and develop team members
  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
