Job summary

Canada Life in Toronto, ON seeks a Director, Business Delivery to lead a national team responsible for business process management, knowledge management, quality and operational enablement. You will establish unified vision, governance, and drive automation and AI-enabled knowledge management across Insurance, Wealth, Workplace Solutions, Claims, and Financial Operations.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in operational excellence and process management.
• Experience leading large or geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk, controls in financial services or regulated industries.
• Experience designing or improving quality programs and performance metrics.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or BPM frameworks.
• Ability to translate strategy into operational outcomes and tangible improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a national, geographically dispersed team for BPM, knowledge management, quality and operational enablement.
• Establish unified vision, operating model and governance for process excellence across areas.
• Partner with Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal and project teams.
• Translate transformation initiatives into sustainable processes, procedures, quality programs and adoption plans.
• Advance end-to-end process management by standardizing reporting, tools and practices.
• Establish governance structures, performance measures and reporting to monitor outcomes.
