TalentSphere Staffing Solutions Inc. is seeking a Director of Operations in Niagara Region, Ontario, to lead warehouse, logistics, and information systems. Base salary ranges from $120,000 to $145,000 annually, plus bonus, RRSP matching, full benefits, and other perks.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, ERP/business systems, or a related field.
7+ years of leadership experience managing multiple teams or department leaders.
Strong background leading warehouse, logistics, and IT/business systems functions.
Experience with ERP and WMS systems, inventory forecasting, order fulfillment, and multi-site distribution.
Strong vendor management and contract negotiation experience.
Undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
PMP, Six Sigma, CCBA, or related certifications are considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor managers across Warehouse, Logistics, and Information Systems teams.
Build team capability through coaching, development plans, performance management, and recruitment.
Lead company-wide projects from planning through implementation, ensuring projects stay on time and on budget.
Partner with leaders across the business to define project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Identify risks, remove roadblocks, and manage dependencies across multiple projects.
Develop and execute operational strategies to improve warehouse performance, logistics efficiency, inventory management, and systems.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, scalability, and cost savings.
Oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage operational budgets.
Monitor KPIs across operations, including order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, project milestones, and system performance.
Ensure accurate inventory forecasting, multi-location distribution, and timely customer order fulfillment.
Lead ERP, WMS, and other business system implementations, integrations, testing, and optimization.
Partner with teams to identify automation opportunities and improve operational workflows.
