Job summary

GEODIS seeks a Director of Operations in Canada to oversee warehouse, distribution and inventory operations across facilities. You will drive safe, profitable performance, lead senior managers and implement best practices nationwide.

You will develop resource plans, review costs, and ensure ISO compliance while promoting growth through customer collaborations and KPI-driven management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with storage and shipment of food grade items preferred.
• Experience with inbound and outbound international shipments preferred.
• Knowledge of labor management systems and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Directs warehouse, distribution and inventory operations across facilities.
• Communicates KPIs on a regular basis and leads process improvements.
• Interacts with customers and stakeholders to expand services.
• Plans and directs resources; reviews budgets and ensures profitability.
• Hires, trains and develops Operations leaders; manages P&L.
• Ensures ISO compliance and safe work environment.
• Travel up to 75% in first 90 days; 15-25% thereafter.
