Job summary

City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee building-maintenance service delivery, lead an FSM team, manage client relationships, and drive growth. You will coordinate with another Director to ensure consistent execution, align priorities, and maintain financial performance.

The role demands a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5+ years of management in operations, CRM proficiency, and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in operations and account-management leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of CRM systems.
• Experience budgeting for a department.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to collaborate with peer leaders while maintaining accountability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with influence.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proven coaching and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an assigned team of Facility Services Managers (FSMs).
• Collaborate with the other Director to align priorities, processes, and standards.
• Own performance, development, and results of FSMs and support department success.
• Partner with leadership to address challenges and allocate resources.
• Achieve revenue, profit targets, manage expenses and IC margins.
• Hire and train operational staff including FSMs and ACMs.
• Meet or exceed annual revenue growth goals.
• Maintain client relationships and achieve high retention.
• Build relationships with vendors and Independent Contractors.
• Ensure IC compliance with client scopes of work.
• Drive cross-selling into non-janitorial services with sales.
• Participate in all new client launches during onboarding.
• Ensure building inspections are completed and documented in CRM.
• Drive people development: 90-day reviews, Level 5 meetings, annual reviews.
• Conduct weekly field work with FSMs and backfill duties as needed.
• Support leadership with coverage and problem solving.
• Conduct ride-alongs with FSMs at least 3 days per week.
• Perform additional operational duties as needed.
