Our client seeks the talents of a Hotel Director of Operations , for a full-service branded property. This position reports to the General Manager and supervises 5 key areas of the hotel operation : front office, maintenance, housekeeping, culinary and retail operations. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to move up internally and eventually become the General Manager of this property, three to five years from now.
This position is based in Ontario, two to three hours drive north of the Greater Toronto Area.
Job Summary :
The Director of Operations is a part of the Executive Committee of the property and is a champion for brand standards and guest satisfaction. They will oversee the daily operations of most areas of the hotel, and make decisions that will affect health and safety, revenue, food & beverage, guest services and others.
They will implement strategies to ensure hotel brands are followed and guest satisfaction is addressed to maximize guest ratings.
