Job summary

CBC/Radio-Canada in Montreal seeks a Director of Learning & Development to lead the national team and shape a global learning and skills development strategy. Reporting to the People and Culture group, you will drive leadership development, align initiatives with corporate strategy, and advance regulatory obligations across the organization.

You will oversee transformation projects, design integrated training, measure impact with clear metrics, manage the L&D budget, and act as a trusted advisor

Qualifications

• Experience leading L&D in large, matrixed or unionized organizations.
• Ability to interact with executive leadership and act as trusted advisor.
• Bilingual communication skills in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute an integrated learning and development strategy.
• Oversee leadership assessment programs and internal mobility.
• Align training initiatives with transformation projects and workforce planning.
• Define metrics to evaluate programs and benchmark analyses.
• Manage the L&D budget and advise senior management on best practices.
