Job summary

YWCA Saskatoon is seeking a Director, Development and Engagement to lead philanthropy, partnerships, and donor relations to ensure long-term sustainability. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will direct fund development activities including major gifts, annual giving, grants, events, sponsorships, and partnerships.

You will report to the CEO and lead a high-performing team across revenue growth, communications, marketing, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Fundraising, Non-profit Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive leadership experience in fundraising, philanthropy, or the charitable sector.
• Demonstrated success leading fundraising programs with responsibility for significant annual revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for fund development, engagement, marketing, communications, grants, and community relations.
• Lead and manage the Fund Development team to achieve annual revenue goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, funders, foundations, corporate partners, and other stakeholders.
