Job summary

YWCA Saskatoon is seeking a Marketing & Communications Specialist to lead marketing and communications activities across departmental strategy, grants, newsletters, impact stories, media releases, website and social media, and the Annual Report.

Reporting to the Director, Development & Engagement, you will develop communications calendars, manage media relations, coordinate community engagement, and raise awareness of all YWCA programs, services for women and girls.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal and external communication strategy, in collaboration with the Director, Development & Engagement.
• Develop and maintain annual calendar of communications.
• Plan, develop, implement and monitor media relations and community engagement opportunities.
• Keep current on issues facing all client groups and overarching emergent issues facing women and girls.
• Raise awareness of all YWCA programs.
