Our exclusive client, a rapidly growing corporate law firm , is looking for a strategic financial professional to take charge of its finance and accounting operations. Reporting to senior leadership, this is more than just a finance role—it’s an opportunity to drive financial integrity, optimize operations, and influence key business decisions in a dynamic and evolving firm.

With two direct reports and close collaboration with legal and operational teams, you’ll be responsible for ensuring financial stability, improving processes, and supporting the firm’s continued expansion . This is a rare chance to take ownership of a firm’s financial strategy and play a key role in shaping its future.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy & Leadership – Provide strategic direction on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, ensuring alignment with the firm’s growth objectives.
• Accounting & Compliance – Oversee financial reporting, internal controls, and year-end processes to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial information.
• Cash Flow & Revenue Optimization – Monitor liquidity, manage A / R collections, and refine financial processes for maximum efficiency.
• Vendor & Banking Relationships – Negotiate and oversee key third-party relationships, ensuring the firm secures the best value from financial service providers.
• Tax & Regulatory Compliance – Ensure the firm meets all tax and legal financial obligations while identifying opportunities for tax efficiency.
• Team Leadership – Supervise and support the firm’s accounting and billing teams, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• CPA designation – A must-have.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial management – Including a few years in a management or supervisory capacity.
• Expertise in financial principles & regulations – Including year-end reporting, trust accounting, and financial planning.
• Exceptional communication & leadership skills – Able to present financial insights clearly and work collaboratively across teams.
• Tech-savviness – Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• A proactive mindset – Resourceful and results-driven, with a passion for improving financial processes and driving strategic initiatives.
