Our client, a manufacturing company, is seeking a Director of Finance who will report to the Vice President, Corporate Controller. The role involves collaborating closely with the company's finance and operational teams, overseeing financial operations such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Treasury. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and process optimization skills to enhance efficiency across a multi-regional finance team. About the Opportunity

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across AP, AR, and Treasury functions
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and performance metrics, establishing KPIs to measure success
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and align processes with business objectives
• Oversee end-to-end AP processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoice and payment processing
• Develop and implement best practices to improve vendor relationships, compliance, and payment efficiency
• Manage credit and collections to maximize cash flow and minimize bad debt
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to improve billing accuracy and customer satisfaction
• Monitor AR aging and DSO metrics, addressing issues proactively
• Support cash optimization strategies and ensure treasury policy compliance
• Establish and improve internal controls and company policies

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing shared services teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Experience managing complex financial structures within a global or multi-regional organization
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder relationship management

Bonus Points

• Bilingual in English and French
• Experience with Navision or D365 systems

Salary Range

$160,000 - $180,000 per year
