Job summary

CoStar Group in Ontario seeks a Director of Business Development to expand our real estate data platform with brokerages, developers, and financial institutions. You will own the territory, build a strategic plan, and drive new revenue in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

You’ll collaborate with our Advisory and Sales teams, travel within the territory, and demonstrate the platform to potential clients. A minimum of 7+ years in digital/data services sales and a SaaS background with user acquisition

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a related digital/data services business development/outside sales role.
• Previous SaaS experience with focus on user acquisition.
• Experience managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing; driven to acquire new business.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business selling Zonda Urban's platform to brokerages, construction, residential & commercial developers, financial institutions, and government & utilities in the territory.
• Develop and execute a sales plan for the territory.
• Maintain all meeting and pipeline information in Salesforce.com.
• Partner with Sales Development Reps to qualify leads and drive the full sales cycle from introductory calls to closing deals.
• Schedule and perform in-person and web demonstrations.
• Travel within your territory and industry conventions to close prospects.
