A leading Canadian company in the packaging sector is looking for a strategic and hands-on director of Business Development to join their team to help accelerate their expansion across Canada.

What You’ll Do

Drive New Business: Identify, pursue, and close new opportunities across the CPG and CHC sectors

Lead with Strategy: Shape go-to-market initiatives and align business development with company objectives

Own the Process: From prospecting and networking to proposal development and contract negotiation

Be the Face: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and within key client accounts

Build Relationships: Become a trusted partner to your clients, nurturing long-term commercial success

What We’re Looking For

10+ years in business development or B2B sales, preferably in packaging, printing, or supply chain sectors

Experience working with or selling to CPG and CHC clients in Canada

Strong understanding of packaging/print processes and how to position them competitively

Proven ability to build pipeline, close deals, and grow key accounts

Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
