Job summary

Beanfield Technologies Inc. is seeking a Director of IT Infrastructure in Toronto to lead the design, deployment, and security of our storage and compute infrastructure.

This role drives end-user services, IT policy compliance, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, security, and operations. The Director will shape Beanfield’s 5-year technology strategy, manage budgets and vendor partnerships, and guide a growing team of IT professionals to ensure reliable, scalable systems and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in managing systems engineering functions.
• Experience with Linux-based enterprise servers and virtualization technologies.
• Proven leadership of distributed teams and strategic IT roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute infrastructure strategy across storage, compute, and virtualization.
• Oversee IT systems operations, service desk, and end-user support.
• Lead lifecycle management, security, DR, and compliance for all assets.
• Manage budgets, vendor relations, and multi-year technology roadmaps.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT with Beanfield’s objectives.
