Job summary

CPP Investments is seeking a Director of Security Architecture & Engineering in Toronto to lead the security architecture and engineering function, embed security-by-design across the tech lifecycle, and mentor a high-performing team. You will guide enterprise security strategy, cloud security, and risk management in alignment with regulatory needs.

You will partner across technology and business units to drive secure delivery, strengthen cybersecurity posture, and integrate innovative security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.
• Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are required or strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in security architecture, engineering, or related cybersecurity field.
• Minimum 4 years of people leadership in security teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to CPP Investments' security architecture and engineering teams.
• Design and implement enterprise security architecture and cloud security strategy.
• Lead security reviews, risk assessments, and security-by-design across the technology lifecycle.
• Partner with technology, operations, and business teams to drive secure delivery and operations.
