FortisAlberta Inc. is seeking a Director, IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity in Calgary to lead enterprise technology strategy, security, and resilience.

You will drive roadmaps, investments, and critical modernization programs for a regulated electric utility, partnering with executives and cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable services. The role requires 10+ years in technology with senior leadership, strong risk and vendor management skills, and a proven track record in enterprise

Qualifications

• Requires degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of technology experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership.
• Experience in infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, resilience and enterprise modernization.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise leadership for IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and resilience.
• Translate strategy and regulatory obligations into technology roadmaps and investments.
• Lead and develop a high-performing IT leadership team and cross-functional partnerships.
• Oversee major infrastructure programs with disciplined scope, schedule, budget and risk management.
• Maintain regulatory readiness, security operations, and disaster recovery capabilities.
