Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking an Indigenous Workforce Development Coordinator to drive recruitment, systemic integration, and retention of First Nations, Métis and Inuit professionals across WRHA. You will embed cultural safety into HR processes to support equity and better health outcomes.

The role emphasizes building partnerships with Indigenous communities and WRHA management, developing regional strategies, and advancing Indigenous workforce representation across all levels.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
• HR management certificate is an asset.
• Training in Indigenous relations, coaching and trauma-informed care is an asset.
• Completion of Indigenous cultural safety and anti-racism training.

Responsibilities

• Drive Indigenous workforce recruitment, integration and retention across WRHA.
• Develop and implement a regional Indigenous workforce strategy and recruitment resources.
• Build relationships with WRHA management, employees and Indigenous communities.
• Increase awareness of healthcare careers among Indigenous job seekers through outreach and recruitment initiatives.
• Promote WRHA career opportunities to internal and external stakeholders.
