Job summary

Walmart Canada seeks a Director, Gift Cards & Services to define and execute the strategy, growth, profitability, and financial results for the Gift Card and Services portfolio. You will lead end-to-end strategy and P&L for Proprietary gift cards, including Retail, B2B, Digital Gift Cards, Out of Store and Directed Spend.

Responsibilities include driving innovation, retention strategies, and value proposition improvements, while guiding execution across a large, matrixed organization.

Qualifications

10+ years of leadership experience in financial services, payments, retail, or fintech.
Proven people leadership experience, with a strong focus on leading teams, developing talent, coaching for performance, and building succession capability.
Strong experience managing P&L and complex product portfolios.
Deep understanding of Gift Card ecosystem (closed/open loop cards) fraud and risk management.
Demonstrated success in partner negotiations and strategic growth initiatives.

Job description

The Director, Gift Cards & Services is responsible for defining and executing the strategy, growth, profitability, and financial results of Walmart Canada’s Gift Card and Services portfolio.
Lead the end-to-end strategy and P&L for: Proprietary gift cards including: Retail, B2B, Digital Gift Cards, Out of Store and Directed Spend.
Directs the execution of innovation, line extensions, retention strategies, and value proposition improvements to Walmart Services.
Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies.
Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce.

Requirements

10+ years of leadership experience in financial services, payments, retail, or fintech.

Strong experience managing P&L and complex product portfolios.
