Job summary

The Government of Nunavut seeks a Director, Facilities and Operations for Nunavut Arctic College to provide strategic leadership over facilities, residences, security and services across campuses. You will ensure safe, functional and culturally supportive learning environments.

Reporting to the Vice-President, you will steward college infrastructure, manage budgets and vendor contracts, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery while collaborating with Inuit stakeholders and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional certification.
• Five years of progressive experience in facilities, property, and/or operations management.
• Two years of experience supervising and leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities, housing, security, and operational services across the College.
• Oversee the maintenance and management of College facilities and assets.
• Direct emergency management, health and safety, and crisis response programs.
• Manage operational budgets, contracts, procurement, and service agreements.
• Provide leadership and direction to operational staff and managers.
