Job summary

The Director will support the SVP in overseeing and implementing enterprise risk management and ESG programs across a global portfolio.

  • Please note this role required being in-office, five days a week, downtown Toronto.

Key responsibilities :

  • Risk : Preparing high-level risk presentations and managing programs related to anti-bribery, internal controls, compliance, and governance, as well as supporting new acquisition integrations and business planning processes.
  • Sustainability : Managing ESG data and KPIs, producing investor reports, tracking greenhouse gas emissions and health & safety incidents, and staying informed on evolving ESG regulations to guide portfolio companies in assessing and addressing climate-related risks.

Requirements :

  • Public accounting experience with a strong performance record
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience, ideally in internal control
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-oriented mindset
  • Adaptability in fast-paced environments
  • Intellectual curiosity and a self-starter attitude
  • Experience or interest in ESG is beneficial
