Job summary

BBA seeks a Director, Data Centres and New Large Loads - Power Market to lead Canada’s data centre and large-load projects across the energy sector. You’ll shape market strategy, manage cross‑functional teams and drive grid integration, storage, wind and solar initiatives with major clients.

Qualifications

Engineering degree in a related discipline from a recognized university.
Registered as a Professional Engineer in Canada.
At least 15 years of relevant experience in data centre development and execution.
Experience in wind and/or solar power energy, consulting engineering and project execution.
Travel to domestic or international destinations is required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate development and execution of data centre market strategy.
Build relationships with clients across data centre, utilities and industrial sectors.
Develop short- to long-term opportunity pipelines and cross-sell services.
Lead project sourcing aligned with regional priorities across Canada and US.
Contribute to proposals and client positioning for power and energy mandates.
Oversee modelling, optimization and integration of renewable/hybrid power systems.
Provide project management and technical leadership for strategic projects.
