What you will do:

Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President, Architecture and Cyber Security, the Director of Cyber Security will be the first line of defense for safeguarding Cineplex data, systems, and services. You will define strategic priorities, lead daily cyber incident response, and manage threat activities. You will also evolve processes, policies, and tools to enhance Cineplex’s Cyber Security capabilities.

Note: This is a hybrid role based out of the Cineplex Head Office at 1303 Yonge St, Toronto.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the Cyber Security program, including policies, workflows, tools, metrics, and reporting.
2. Lead and mentor a team of Cyber Security Analysts, overseeing tasks, priorities, skills development, and strategic projects.
3. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on threat intelligence, researching emerging threats and deploying preventative solutions.
4. Manage key capabilities such as EDR, Threat Protection, SIEM, SAST, DAST, WAF, and PAM.
5. Collaborate with Security, IT Operations, Legal, and Risk teams to ensure alignment.
6. Contribute to security, privacy, and crisis management policies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
2. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, GCFA, CISM, CISA, PCI QSA/ISA, PMP are preferred.
3. Experience developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies.
4. Deep technical or operational cybersecurity experience.
5. Knowledge of cybersecurity disciplines including Systems/Network Administration, Windows, SQL, Linux, VMWare, Virtual Servers.
6. Experience working in hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
7. Strong communication skills to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
8. Knowledge of Canadian Privacy Laws.
