Job summary

Karis Disability Services seeks Direct Support Professionals to assist people with developmental disabilities in living independently in their homes and communities. You will support daily living activities, promote skills development, and help individuals exercise their rights to direct their own lives while fostering dignity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• DSW or CYW certification or related post-secondary education.
• Experience or training in developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to support people in daily living with respect and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with developmental disabilities with daily living in homes and communities.
• Support individuals to develop skills for personal growth and independence.
• Respect rights and promote inclusion and choice in daily activities.
