Job summary

Rexel Canada is hiring a Direct Billing Clerk (1 year contract) based in Mississauga, ON. You will bill Direct Orders/Projects, reconcile entries and assist inventory and AP processes.

You will handle PO matching in AS400, process billings, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve 3-way match issues while maintaining reports and performing additional duties as needed. This role emphasizes accuracy and professional communication.

Qualifications

• Intermediate level accounts payable, billing or accounting experience.
• Must have accuracy and attention to detail.
• MS Outlook and Excel proficiency required.
• AS400 experience is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, match and maintain POs in the AS400 system.
• Process customer billings.
• Resolve 3-way match issues with internal teams.
• Assist Accounts Payable with vendor invoices.
• Process customer credits, returns and debits.
• Analyze and reconcile direct inventory entries.
• Maintain and update reports (manual and computer-based).
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
• Act as Brand Ambassador and uphold Rexel’s corporate image.

Job Description

As the Direct Billing Clerk (1 year contract) based in Mississauga,ON you will be responsible for the billing of Direct Orders/Projects, reconciling entries, dealing with outstanding issues and assisting in inventory reconciliation.

Qualifications

• You have an intermediate level accounts payable, billing or accounting experience required.


• You bring accuracy and attention to detail.


• You have intermediate MS Outlook and Excel proficiency required


• You have experience with the AS400 computer system as an asset but must have demonstrated proficiency with various computer systems.


• You have excellent oral and written English communication skills.


• You have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is approximately CAD 50000. Final compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. This range does not include variable pay or other components of Rexel’s total rewards package.
