White Rock Christian Academy (WRCA) in Vancouver seeks a passionate Diploma Programme Coordinator to join our Senior School. This 50% FTE role runs January to June 2027, with potential to extend to 100% FTE depending on needs.

As an IB World School, WRCA emphasizes rigorous academics and a Biblical worldview. The DP Coordinator will lead the programme, collaborate with DP teachers, coordinate the Core components, oversee assessments, and support students and families throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and coordinating an IB Diploma Programme.
• Familiarity with IB pedagogy, inquiry-based learning, and assessment practices.
• Ability to manage programme documentation and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordination for the IB Diploma Programme, including communication with the IB and ensuring programme requirements and deadlines are met.
• Support and collaborate with DP teachers, encouraging strong IB pedagogy, inquiry-based learning, assessment practices, and professional growth.
• Coordinate key elements of the DP Core, including the Extended Essay, CAS, and TOK, in collaboration with the appropriate staff.
• Oversee important assessment and examination processes, including internal assessments, predicted grades, IB submissions, and examination preparation.
• Support students and families with DP course selection, programme expectations, academic planning, and important deadlines.
• Maintain accurate programme documentation and communication through ManageBac and other IB systems.
• Collaborate with school leadership on the continued development of the DP, course offerings, staffing, and timetable planning.
• Work alongside the Biblical Foundations Coordinator to support the meaningful integration of a Biblical Christian worldview within the Diploma Programme.

Diploma Programme Coordinator – 50% FTE

White Rock Christian Academy (WRCA) seeks a passionate and organized Diploma Programme (DP) Coordinator to join our Senior School team. This position is 50% FTE from January to June 2027, with the potential to continue into the following school year. We are also open to discussing additional teaching responsibilities and course offerings with candidates whose teachable subjects align with our school’s needs, with the potential for this to become a 100% FTE position.

As an IB World School, WRCA is committed to providing a strong and engaging Diploma Programme that challenges students academically while supporting their growth as thoughtful, reflective, and globally minded learners. The DP Coordinator will provide leadership and coordination for the programme, working closely with school leadership, teachers, students, and families to ensure the programme is well organized, coherent, and aligned with IB requirements and WRCA’s Christian mission.
