Job summary

University Health Network (UHN) is seeking a Project Manager within the Digital PMO to plan and deliver digital infrastructure initiatives across capital projects, site activations and redevelopments. You will lead diverse teams, coordinate networks, telephony and digital assets, and drive end-to-end delivery with strong governance and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years project management experience in healthcare, digital health, or related environments.
• Undergraduate degree required in Health Informatics or Administration, Technology, Science, Business, or related field; master’s degree an asset.
• Experience leading end-to-end application, system interfacing/interoperability and IT infrastructure projects required.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong analytical, prioritization and organizational skills; attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Experience with healthcare IT implementations, clinical workflow redesign or hospital redevelopment projects preferred.
• PMP designation or equivalent required or demonstrated progress toward designation.
• Familiarity with HL7, ITIL, enterprise architecture, network infrastructure, and vendor management is an asset.
• Proficient use of office productivity, project management, and scrum software (e.g., M365 tools, MS Planner/Project, MS Visio).

Responsibilities

• Create detailed project charters, plans, schedules, RAID logs, decision logs, budgets, resources, and status reports with stakeholders.
• Apply rigorous project management, change management, and effective communication across project lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across clinical, operational, Digital, construction, facilities, privacy/security, procurement and leadership.
• Lead workflow reviews and process redesign with frontline clinical input and site visits.
• Deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations to stakeholders and executives.
• Incorporate data-driven evidence and emerging technologies to meet business requirements and standards.
• Support governance and oversight models; escalate risks and prepare leadership recommendations.
• Drive business insights through data analysis, data quality, reporting and visualization.
• Facilitate organizational change with change management and communication practices.
• Support development of operational models and transition plans for sustainable state.
• Coach and manage staff in a matrix environment; prioritize tasks and remove barriers.
