Job summary

The Position

The Digital Marketing Specialist, Email is responsible for coordinating, executing, and optimizing digital nurture and email marketing programs that support business objectives and customer engagement. The role manages the day-to-day delivery of email marketing campaigns and automated nurture activities, ensuring content is tailored for digital channels and aligned with brand and communication standards.

This role supports campaign execution across email, paid media, and messaging platforms, while monitoring program performance, preparing reports and insights, and maintaining data accuracy and quality. It also provides operational support for marketing automation platforms, including troubleshooting and resolving routine system issues.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Plan and execute email and nurture marketing activities, including webinar and event emails, product releases, and client communications
  • Use Click-up to manage work and stakeholder communications
  • Leverage marketing automation technology (Marketo) to build, review, approve and report on email activity.
  • Partner with Field Marketing and other internal teams to coordinate email, paid media, SMS and nurture activities while contributing to the email marketing calendar and supporting broader Growth Marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Growth Marketing processes and help reinforce best practices across the teams you support.
  • Present findings to stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations to improve results
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Digital Marketing, Field Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Customer Experience, and other internal stakeholders to support integrated campaign execution and business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment on priorities, and timely delivery of marketing activities.
  • Proactively coordinate with internal teams to gather inputs, share updates, troubleshoot issues, and ensure campaigns and nurture programs are executed efficiently.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • 3-4 years minimum experience in email marketing
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, Pardot, ActiveCampaign, or Mailchimp.
  • Hands-on experience in Marketo is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing processes, with an emphasis on email, including building emails and lists.
  • Experience in digital advertising platforms is an asset (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).
  • Experience utilizing SMS capabilities and/or messenger apps like WhatsApp for nurture marketing is an asset but not required.
Additional Information

This role is based in our Vancouver, BC office, with three or more days per week in the office.
