A Brief Overview

The Digital Marketing & Demand Generation Specialist will develop and execute regional and global campaigns to drive consumer awareness across digital channels, increase traffic and drive revenue. This role will lead ASICS Canada multi‑faceted digital marketing activities using new media and digital tools. This includes but is not limited to executing digital lead generation, management of digital marketing initiatives and promotions, social media platforms, affiliate marketing, referral programs, reward/loyalty programs, websites, blogs, pay per click, email campaigns and digital analysis. The Digital Marketing & Demand Generation Specialist is also required to participate and support the marketing team with internal and external brand events, races, community activities, etc.

What You’ll Do
  • Establish and maintain a strong brand presence and voice through the coordination and creation of digital content to be implemented through our various brand platforms (ecommerce, paid digital, social media, wholesale accounts, media and event partners, OneASICS, first responders’ program, newsletters, CRM, video, presentations, blogs, podcasts, website, etc.)
  • Manage end-to-end digital projects while staying up-to-date with digital media development.
  • Liaise and work with internal and external teams to execute regional and global digital campaigns for omnichannel, social media platforms, wholesale accounts and media and event partners, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Develop and create paid media assets and coordinate execution/strategy with marketing and agency partners (e.g. Social, Video, Search, Display).
  • Manage and perform ad‑hoc marketing projects. Participate and support internal and external brand events, races and community activities. Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.
  • Manage social media accounts and community engagement (Dash Social, content creation, scheduling, reporting, etc.).
  • Create, manage, execute, and analyze digital lead generation activities (CRM, OneASICS, First Responders, etc.).
  • Understand, monitor, and interpret metrics to drive continual improvement in ROI and KPI’s, suggesting changes to campaigns and implementing direct marketing methods to increase profitability.
How You’ll Be Successful
  • Demonstrated experience in digital marketing such as a digital media specialist or experience working in the digital agency space
  • Strong understanding of digital, retail e‑commerce and the role of paid, owned, earned social strategies and reward/loyalty programs across existing and emerging platforms
  • Strong understanding of corporate/brand social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Experience executing social, paid search, SEO, PLA, Google Merchant Center, video, email, and display advertising campaigns
  • Understanding of brand marketing, as well as a strong working knowledge of digital channels including apps, email, affiliates, SEO, reward/loyalty programs, performance parketing and social, ideally in an ecommerce setting
  • Experience in Dropbox, Mailchimp, YouTube, Adobe Suites including but not limited to Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, InDesign, or other media editing software
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems (Dash Social, Plant, Magento, Klaviyo, Mail Chimp, etc.) is a plus
  • Proven ability to deliver quantifiable results through multi‑platform digital marketing campaigns
  • Capture, analyze, and present monthly digital marketing reports with key stakeholders
  • Experience with visual communication principles
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual (English/French Canadian) is an asset
What You’ll Need
  • 1‑3 years’ experience in a Digital Marketing position or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital media or relevant field, training, education and experience required
