As the Digital Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will design, develop, implement, track, and optimize a global digital marketing strategy to maximize reach, action, conversions, and engagement across Human Appeal’s digital portfolio. Delivering communications that help the organization capitalize on every opportunity to retain and engage with their donors/supporters/partners, and drive Human Appeal’s global online strategy and brand online, ensuring integration with all offline channels.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Establish, drive, and manage a coherent integrated global digital marketing strategy, using the full mix of digital acquisition techniques – PPC/search, display/programmatics, affiliates/partners, and social media channels (paid and organic).
- Manage the social media team to ensure marketing activities focusing on TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms as appropriate, build Human Appeal’s online community, brand, engagement, and income streams.
- Ensure the social media team manages each channel with scheduled content marketing calendars aligned with organization-wide campaigns.
- Devise, implement, and monitor compliance with the organizational social media policy.
- Implement digital marketing channel strategies and plans, including budgeting for PPC, display, programmatic, video marketing, social media, and other paid campaigns, supporting and managing external agencies as needed.
- Plan workload for campaigns, including briefing collateral required for all digital marketing activities.
- Create and manage digital campaigns, overseeing online budgets and targeting specific demographics.
- Analyze campaign success, translating data into recommendations and plans for revision, monitoring, and reporting during and after campaigns.
- Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy, and make recommendations for new strategies regularly.
- Develop KPIs across all online channels and report regularly.
- Manage the overall digital marketing budget, working closely with third-party agencies or consultants.
- Support the team with learning outcomes and SMART objectives during busy periods, leave, and absences.
- Develop and share best practices and introduce efficiencies to maximize ROAS.
Qualifications and experience:
- Degree in Digital/Marketing or related field.
- Experience managing relationships with or working for a digital/marketing agency.
- Experience using analytics and monitoring tools to report on complex data, analyze, and present insights, and make informed recommendations.
Computer Skills:
- MS Office Suite
- Social media management tools (Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, Sprout Social)
- Experience with Google Analytics, Adwords, DoubleClick, Facebook Business Manager, Bing Ads
