Job summary

Government of Nova Scotia seeks a Digital Health Lead to advance provincial digital health priorities through governance, analysis, and cross-system collaboration. You will work with government partners, health organizations, and pan-Canadian initiatives to provide strategic advice and coordinate initiatives.

The role focuses on planning, performance measurement, and leveraging evidence to drive health system transformation while supporting senior leadership in decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in strategic planning and governance.
• Experience in research and policy analysis.
• Experience in executive briefings and recommendations.
• Experience in performance measurement and evaluation.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and facilitation.
• Experience in digital health transformation.
• Equivalency in education/training/experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic planning and governance activities for provincial digital health priorities.
• Monitor progress across digital health initiatives and provide analysis to support planning and decision-making.
• Develop and report on performance measures, outcomes, and benefits realization.
• Prepare briefing materials and governance documentation for senior leadership.
• Coordinate engagement with partners across government and health organizations.
• Research emerging trends and best practices to inform strategy and policy.
• Support initiatives that strengthen digital health services and health system transformation.
