Our client requires three (3) data architects to lead the solution architecture of digital services by developing citizen-centered, agile-aligned architectural plans. Architects will ensure alignment with a common architectural vision and adherence to technical standards. This includes guiding iterative solution development, balancing team priorities between features and technical tasks, and hands-on development when needed.

Responsibilities
- Lead the solution architecture of digital services by developing the overall architectural plan, ensuring a citizen-centered design and agile software approach; Uncovering existing system context;
- Providing recommendations and prototypes for technical discovery and feasibility
- Providing and being accountable for the solution designs that account for iterative implementation
- Analyzing impacts, exposure, and risk as it pertains to the solution design.
- Facilitate frequent product deliveries to support the creation of the target architecture, while determining tactical approaches for integrations and defining system boundaries and interactions.
- Provide guidance on detailed solution designs, review code changes, and contribute directly to code to implement user stories and technical tasks.
- Identify and promote opportunities to reuse components and capabilities from other digital services to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Encourage team collaboration and contributions toward leveraging shared digital services and capabilities.
- Offer coaching and mentorship to the product team, and communicate architectural concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences using appropriate materials.
- Contribute to the development of architectural principles, metrics, and standards for service quality, and actively support the continuous improvement of the architecture practice
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field of study equivalencies will be considered.
- 5 years’ demonstrated experience leading cross-functional agile product teams, providing architectural direction, and mentoring developers and technical leads.
- 8 years’ experience as a data architect, software architect, or senior data engineer, where the proposed resource’s focus has been collaborative work on and / or with cross-functional teams to create new software applications
- 5 years’ experience in leading solution architecture and introducing the overall technical vision for a large-scale Enterprise projects with integrations between systems.
- 4 years’ experience leading domain modelling and database schema design for transactional and reporting systems.
- 5 years’ strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- 3 years’ experience aligning data architecture with organizational data strategies and digital service delivery goals.
- 3 years’ experience applying data governance principles to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance in data product delivery.
- 4 years’ experience applying secure development practices and managing identity and access using role-based or attribute-based access control and Zero Trust Architecture principle.
- 2 years’ experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed data interoperability and standardization practices into product development workflows.
- 5 years’ experience incrementally transforming existing legacy systems into modern digital services across multiple releases.
- 2 years’ experience with containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code practices for cloud or hybrid environments
- 2 years’ experience working within a large and complex enterprise public sector environment.
- 5 years’ experience working with both relational and non-relational databases, including schema design and performance optimization.
- 2 years’ experience working within public sector digital service frameworks or enterprise architecture standards.
- 4 years’ experience working as an architect using data analytics tools and methodologies to derive insights from data
