Job summary

Sun Life Financial is seeking a Business Systems Consultant to provide governance for changes entering staging and production environments, ensuring quality across applications and infrastructure. You will partner with delivery teams to minimize risk and outages while preparing concise leadership reports.

The role requires strong IT background, ability to interact credibly with engineers, and experience in governance, analytics and program coordination.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of business systems analysis principles and best practices.
• Strong communication and requirements-elicitation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation skills to guide collaborative decision-making.
• Self-directed and organized with the ability to manage a high volume of complex changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance for digital ecosystem deployments to staging and production environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to reduce failures and outages and document go/no-go decisions.
• Prepare reports for senior leadership on deployment governance and risk.
• Support disaster recovery planning and weekend DR activities.
