The Opportunity

The Dietitian/Nutritionist, Supervisor, Clinical Nutrition, reports to the Manager of Food Services and oversees activities related to breast milk storage, preparation, and handling using a computerized tracking system. The role involves collaboration with NICU and Food Services Department managers to align with the centre's mission, vision, and values. The supervisor works closely with the NICU Infant Clinical Dietitian and management to support feeding high-risk infants according to best practices.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm, excluding holidays

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (required)
• Successful completion of a Dietetic Internship (required)
• Registered with the Nova Scotia College of Dietitians and Nutritionists and Dietitians of Canada (required)
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience (required)
• Experience in product and service quality, cost control, HR issues, and administrative reporting (preferred)
• Ability to supervise staff in a complex, unionized, multi-site environment
• Strong team-building and collaborative skills
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Additional language skills are an asset
