Job summary

Horizon Health Network is seeking a Dietitian to manage nutritional care for patients across clinical, community, and food service settings. You will collaborate with hospital teams, community services and system partners to promote health and nutrition outcomes.

The role emphasizes establishing nutrition care plans, providing counselling, documenting care, and mentoring students within an interdisciplinary care environment.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with NB Association of Dietitians in good standing.
• Willing to participate in continuing education/certification programs.
• Minimum 1 year recent experience preferred depending on department.
• Ability to travel for client appointments and community meetings.
• Regular attendance and reliable work record.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and anthropometric data to inform care.
• Establish nutrition care plans and provide counselling.
• Document assessments, interventions, and care plans.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and community assessments.
• Prepare and present information sessions.
• Mentor students and contribute to policy development.
• Contribute to policies and procedures evaluation.
