Job summary

The Horizon Health Network is seeking an Upper River Valley Dietitian 1 to manage nutritional care for patients and clients across clinical nutrition, community needs and food service operations in the Upper River Valley area.

You will collaborate with hospital teams, community partners and care teams; responsibilities include assessing nutrition status, developing care plans, counselling, education sessions and mentoring students. English required; temporary full-time position in New Brunswick.

Qualifications

• Must be registered and a member in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Dietitians.
• Ability to travel for client appointments and community meetings using own transportation for those working in Public Health.
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
• Ability to perform the duties of the position.

JOB PURPOSE

Working collaboration with hospital teams, community services and other system partners, the Dietitian is responsible for managing the nutritional care of patients or clients. This is professional dietetics practice in either clinical nutrition, community nutrition needs or food service operations towards the attainment, maintenance, and promotion of the health of individuals, groups, and the community
