Job summary

Northern Health is seeking a registered dietitian to join its Specialized Services team in a person- and family-centered care model. You will work within interprofessional teams to develop care plans and deliver health services through primary care connections, in settings ranging from physician practices to homes and community facilities.

The role emphasizes evidence-informed practice, clinical assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up, with focus on delivering safe, ethical care in line

Qualifications

  • Must have a Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics.
  • Successful completion of an accredited dietetic internship program (or equivalent).
  • Registrant in BC College of Health and Care Professionals.
  • Two years of clinical nutrition experience in health care setting.
  • Experience with Diabetes Education, Nutrition Support, Kidney and Chronic Disease Management programs.
  • Valid BC Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

  • Provide planned, evidence-informed nutrition care in physician practices, homes, facilities and communities.
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Assess, treat, and follow up with individuals and families to achieve optimal health goals.
  • Utilize Meditech and other systems to document care and outcomes.
