Job summary

Southern Health-Santé Sud is hiring a part‑time Dietary Aide in Nutrition and Food Services. The role requires a Dietary Aide certificate, Food Handler training, and knowledge of therapeutic and texture-modified diets.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dietary Aide certificate.
• Current Food Handler Training certificate level 1 or equivalent Food Sanitation course or be willing to acquire a Food Handler Training Certificate in the first six (6) months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of therapeutic and texture-modified diets.
• Maintain sanitary food handling procedures.
• If applicable, operate Electronic Menu Management Information System (EMMIS).
• Demonstrate cash handling competencies.
• Respect and promote a culturally diverse population.
• Meet confidentiality requirements across paper and electronic formats.
• Be prepared to work evenings and weekends as rotations require.
