Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals in an assisted living or medical facility. You will follow therapeutic diets and portion standards to support resident nutrition.

You will set and clear dining spaces, maintain cleanliness, monitor restocking, observe HACCP guidelines, follow WHMIS, and assist with special function catering as delegated. You must have a Food Handler Certificate and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Have previous experience as a dietary aide or in hospitality and customer service.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Skilled in preparing meals according to instructions.
• Good time-management skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
