Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join the Generations Toronto team, serving meals to residents in a respectful, friendly environment. You will assist with meal setup, serving, and cleanup, while helping maintain dining areas and support occasional catering events.

The role requires a Food Handler's Certificate, and enrollment in the Food Service Worker Training Program is acceptable. Prior experience with seniors is a plus, with physical stamina necessary for lifting and standing.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Certificate required.
• Preference for prior senior-care food service experience.
• Must be enrolled in Food Service Worker Training Program.
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional manner.
• Assist with setup and preparation for service of meals and beverages.
• Set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service.
• Assist with cleaning of dishware and maintain kitchen and dining area.
• Assist with catering and participate in events.
• Assist in orientation and training of new dietary employees.
